Ready to become an everyday hero who is proactive in protecting those around you? Our Management Team is here to help you with any questions you may have about working as a Sears Pool Management lifeguard or the lifeguard application process. Please review the information below as a first step to understanding the requirements and certifications for both attendant and lifeguard positions.

Positions

  • You must be at least 15 years of age.

  • You must pass a Lifeguard Certification class before you can begin working.

  • You must successfully interview with our Staffing Management Team.

  • There is a wide variety of work hours and locations available for this role.

Pool Attendant

  • You do not have to have any special certification.
  • You must successfully interview with our Staffing Management Team.
  • Available work hours and locations for this role are limited.

Work Schedule and Location

Your work schedule is based on your availability. When you are hired, you will fill out your Availability Calendar in which you will indicate any days that you are not able to work. You will also include whether you want to work Part Time (10-20 hours per week) or Full Time (20-40 hours per week). We use an online portal for scheduling that makes it easy to check anytime.

We will assign you to a specific pool for the season where you will become closely acquainted with the client as well as their individual policies and procedures. You will also have an opportunity to work regularly or substitute at additional pools. Assigned pool locations are determined by your physical home address but will typically be no further away than 10-15 miles. We have approximately 70 locations in 8 different counties where we staff lifeguards. We staff approximately 10 locations for Pool Attendant positions. Job openings, hours, and locations have much higher availability for lifeguard positions.

If you are physically able to train and earn your Lifeguard Certification, we highly recommend this route. The American Red Cross course that we facilitate provides a two-year certification, which sets us apart from other certification courses that are only valid for one year. In addition to summer lifeguard positions, year-round positions are available for certified lifeguards as well.

Compensation & Bonuses

We want the best of the best! In addition to paying the highest starting rate of any pool management company in Atlanta, we offer performance-based bonuses, overtime pay, and holiday pay. When you recruit friends who also become trusted members of our team, you can earn $25 per referral. Make good money, work with your friends, and join the best lifeguarding team in Atlanta.
